(good post, especially the observation that many big companies view agile as small waterfall exercises. Hell, SAFe has a quarterly Program Increment that is far more waterfall (with messy in person planning) than Agile, yet corporations that practice SAFe claim to be "Agile" and even "Lean Agile"
